Rehabilitation Of Traumatic Peripheral Neuropathies

This review describes traumatic peripheral neuropathies with regard to classification, evaluation and treatment procedures. Although traumatic and degenerative neuropathic problems have many similarities, the discussion focuses primarily on peripheral trauma. Although involving the nervous system directly, the neurological and musculoskeletal effects of trauma to the peripheral nerve system differ significantly from the effects of trauma to the central nerve system. Spesific findings on evaluation and prescriptions for specific treatment were discussed.

Bu derleme, travmatik periferik nöropatileri, sınıflamasına, değerlendirme ve tedavi yaklaşımlarına göre açıklamaktadır. Travmatik ve dejeneratif nöropatilerin, pekçok benzer yönleri olmasına rağmen, tartışma esas olarak periferal travma üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Direk, sinir sistemini içermesine rağmen, travmanın periferik sinir sistemine, nörolojik ve kas iskelet sistemine etkileri, merkezi sinir sistemine olan etkilerinden önemli oranda farklılık göstermektedir.
