Hydatid Cyst Which Was Situated in Muscle Near the Femoral Artery

Echinococcus alveolaris is an endemic infectious disease in our country. We reported a case of hydatid cyst which was situated within muscle near the femoral artery. Previously, the patient was carried on femoro-femoral bypass operation, there was a pulsatile mass in left femoral region in physical examination 5 months later. In ultrasonographic evaluation, a cystic lesion was seen. After femoral exploration, the patient was taken for surgery. The surgical approch was cystic resection. Echinococcus alveolaris was seen in histopathological examination. The patient was discharged at the 6 th postoperative day without any complications.

Femoral Bölgede Arteryal Grefte Komşu Bir Hidatik Kist (Olgu Sunumu)

Ülkemiz Echinococcus granulosus’un neden olduğu Kist Hidatik olguları yönünden endemik bir bölgedir. Bu bildiride, Echinococcus alveolaris’in nadir yerleşim yerlerinden biri olan, femoral bölgede arteryal grefte komşu, kas içi yerleşimli bir Kist Hidatik olgusu sunuldu. Daha önce cross femoro-femoral bypass operasyonu yapılan olguda ameliyat sonrası 5. ayda rutin kontrolleri sırasında, sol femoral bölgede pulsatil kitle farkedildi. USG’de kistik yapı görülen olguya sol femoral eksplorasyon ve kist rezeksiyonu uygulandı. Histopatolojik tetkik sonucu Echinococcus granulosus saptandı. Medikal tedavi başlanan olgu poliklinik kontrolü altında takip edilmektedir.
