The cause of persistent fever after the caesarean section: Overyan Ven Trombozu

In patients with pelvic surgery because of obstetric and gynecology reasons, the cause of rarely seen persistent fever is ovarian vein thrombosis/septic pelvic thrombosis in the period of post operation. In this study,due to not having a natural childbirth in our 31 years old full term pregnant patient a case of developing ovarian vein thrombosis/septic pelvic after our C-section operation is presented. The diagnosis of ovarian vein thrombosis/septic pelvic thrombophlebitis is placed with imaging( BT,MR). During the teratment, broad-spectrum antibiotics and heparin infusion are used. If any neglect or delay are seen in diagnosis, it may result in death.

Sezeryan Ameliyatı Sonrası Düşmeyen Ateşin Bir Nedeni: Overyan Ven Trombozu

Obstetrik ve jinekolojik nedenlerle pelvik cerrahi yapılan hastalarda, post operatif dönemde düşmeyen ateşin ender nedenlerinden biride ovarian ven trombozu/septik pelvik trombozdur. Bu çalışmada 31 yaşındaki miadında gebe hastamızda ilerlemeyen eylem nedeniyle yaptığımız sezaryen sonrası gelişen ovarian ven trombozu vakası sunulmuştur. Ovarian ven trombozu /septik pelvik tromboflebit tanısı görüntüleme ile (BT, MR) ile konulur. Tedavide geniş spektrumlu antibiyotik ve heparin infüzyonu kullanılır. Tanıda gecikme olursa veya tanı atlanılırsa mortal seyredebilir.
