Nursing Care of a Patient Diagnosed with Hemophilia A Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery: A Case Report

The aim of this study is to determine the daily needs of a patient, who underwent coronary artery bypass graft in the cardiovascular surgery clinic due to the diagnosis of “Hemophilia”, according to Roper, Logan, and Tierney’s Model of Daily Living Activities and to plan appropriate interventions for these needs. The problems detected in the case were the risk of fall, bleeding risk, lack of information related to the disease process, ineffectiveness in cleaning the airway, fatigue, pain, elevated blood glucose level, disruption in sleep pattern, and impaired physical activity. Based on these data, the nursing care was established with the diagnoses of the risk of fall, bleeding risk, risk of infection, pain, lack of information, anxiety, ineffectiveness in cleaning the airway, risk of variation in blood glucose, risk of fluid volume imbalance, inability to maintain personal hygiene, impaired physical activity, fatigue, activity intolerance, ineffectiveness in role performance, and disturbance in sleep pattern as well as appropriate nursing interventions. As a result of the care provided, the patient was helped to do and maintain activities of daily living and the needs of the patient and his relatives were met through post-operative nursing training.

Koroner Arter Bypass Greft Ameliyatı Yapılan Hemofili A Hastasının Hemşirelik Bakımı: Olgu Sunumu

Bu çalışmada “Hemofili” tanısı ile kalp ve damar cerrahi kliniğinde koroner arter bypass greft yapılan bir hastanın Roper, Logan ve Tierney Günlük Yaşam Aktiviteleri Modeline göre günlük gereksinimlerinin saptanması ve bu gereksinimlere yönelik uygun girişimlerin planlaması amaçlanmıştır. Olguda saptanan sorunlar; düşme riski, kanama riski, hastalık sürecine bağlı bilgi eksikliği, hava yolunu temizlemede etkisizlik, yorgunluk, ağrı, kan glikoz düzeyinin yüksek olması, uyku düzeninde bozulma ve fiziksel harekette bozulmadır. Bu verilere dayanarak, düşme riski, kanama riski, infeksiyon riski, ağrı, bilgi eksikliği, anksiyete, hava yolunu temizlemede etkisizlik, kan glikozunda değişkenlik riski, sıvı volüm dengesizliği riski, kişisel temizliğini sürdürmede yetersizlik, fiziksel harekette bozulma, yorgunluk, aktivite intoleransı, rol performansta etkisizlik, uyku örüntüsünde rahatsızlık tanıları ve uygun hemşirelik girişimleri ile hemşirelik bakımı oluşturulmuştur. Verilen bakımın sonucunda, hastanın günlük yaşam aktivitelerini yerine getirmesine ve sürdürmesine yardımcı olunmuş, ameliyat sonrası hemşirelik eğitimleri ile hasta ve yakınlarının gereksinimleri karşılanmıştır.
