Endocervicosis: A Rare Lesion of the Cervix

Endocervicosis is one of the benign mullerian lesions of the cervix, characterized by the extension of the glands lined with endocervical type epithelium with cystic dilated appearance from the cervical wall to the paracervical connective tissue. Endocervicosis often occurs in the bladder. There are case reports in the axillary lymph nodes, small intestine, rectum, old cesarean scar and vagina. Although it is a benign lesion, the patients can become symptomatic. Separation of the endocervicosis from the premalignant or malignant lesions of the cervix requires surgical treatment and pathological evaluation. Cervical endocervicosis is a rare entity and few cases have been reported in the literature. In this study, a case of cervical endocervicosis in a multiparous woman is presented.

Endoservikozis: Serviksin Nadir Görülen Bir Lezyonu

Endoservikozis, kistik dilate görünümdeki endoservikal tip epitelle döşeli glandların servikal duvardan paraservikal bağ dokusuna kadar uzanımıyla karakterli serviksin benign mülleryan lezyonlarından biridir. Endoservikozis sıklıkla mesanede görülür. Aksiller lenf nodları, ince bağırsak, rektum, eski sezaryen skarı ve vajende olgu bildirimleri mevcuttur. Benign bir lezyon olmasına karşın hastaların semptomatik hale gelmesi ve preoperatif tanıda serviksin premalign veya malign lezyonlarının ayrımında yetersiz kalınması cerrahi tedavi ve patolojik değerlendirmeyi gerekli kılar. Servikal endoservikozis nadir görülen bir antitedir ve literatürde az sayıda bildirilmiş vaka vardır. Bu çalışmada multipar bir kadın hastada görülen servikal endoservikozis vakası sunulmuştur.
